21_inch:normal_shutdown

Normal Shutdown
- Stow the telescope. In the TCS GUI click on the “Service” tab. Click “Stow” then click the “GOTO” button directly below “RELOAD”.
- Close the telescope mirror covers (in the correct order - north first, then south)
- Stow the dome. Use the hand paddle to center the shutter over the eastern dome rotation wheel above the main entry door to the dome.
- Plug in shutter motor
- Close shutter using shutter control box.
- Shutdown TCS using “X” in upper right of GUI.
- Shutdown TCS gui computer.
- Turn off power to telescope drives at the Telescope power box
- Switch dome control to local at the telescope power box.
