What to do before you arrive at the telescope

1.  Read through the documentation on the MAESTRO web site.   Information on MAESTRO is fluid currently, and we are in the process of updating and organizing the documentation.

2.  Make sure you have accurate (1" or better) coordinates for your targets.  You should examine a finding chart to be sure that your target is the brightest object in the field (within ~ 30") and easily identifiable;  bring a chart if it is not.

3.  Bring radial velocity standards if you need them.  Flux standards and spectral resolution standards are available on the MAESTRO web site.

4.   Send in an electronic observing catalog, as instructed on the mmto.org web site.

5.  Use the flexure estimator to estimate what the flexure will be for your target, and chose an exposure time accordingly.

6.  Arrange your accomodations and travel, as instructed on the mmto.org web site.

7.  MAESTRO is not an MMTO facility instrument, so coordinate your run with the MAESTRO support scientist before you arrive.
