Stuff in Jill's Barn

March 31, 2013

Mostly there are boxes of items we had to move out of the 5th floor lab:

miscellaneous supplies (tape, sandpaper, tongue depressors, etc.)
spare weatherstripping and other things we used in manufacturing the spectrograph covers,
spare parts left over from assembling the space frame,
cleaning supplies,
spare pieces of aluminum we used for aligning and mounting optics
useful things we inherited from cleaning up various lab spaces we used during the project

Large items:

the dummy grating made out of aluminum we used to practice mounting the grating in the grating cell
the shipping box the grating came in,
Miscellaneous jigs we made for mounting and alignment of the big optics
Jigs we made for assembling the space frame

Dummy grating cell is the block of aluminum, on the floor next to the blue grating shipping container.

Jigging used to construct the space frame, and the turntable used to align optics when mounted in the camera/collimator.

The blue blocks, useful for setting up alignment jigs for small optics in the lab.

Miscellaneous parts from the lab.
