ZEMAX and Code-V model files for MAESTRO

last update:  June 5, 2013

ZEMAX model files for MAESTRO, the f/5 telescope optics and correctors (courtesy Brian McLeod) and associated data files for the glasses we used.

The most recent version of the entire system is rev12_fullsystem.ZMX.  It contains the major optics, as built.

A tarball of all files is also provided.  There is a README file to tell you what is what.

README contains:

MAESTRO model:

rev12_fulsystem.ZMX

Special data files:

RJS_I_LINE.AGF
RJS_I_LINE.BGF
SPECIALMAESTROL.AG
SPECIALMAESTROL.BGF
Special.agf

These files describe the MMT telescope and the f/5 imaging and spectrocopic
corrector, respectively.  MAESTRO uses the spectroscopic corrector system:

image_final.ZMX
spect_final.ZMX

Other model files can be found in ZMAX_Old.  A tarball of the older files is HERE.

FINAL.ZMX      This is the model that Bechtold and Sarlot completed in late 2001

Matthew Chang took FINAL.ZMX, made some changes to help make mounting and alignment of the optics easier, and
ported it into Code V.  He did a proper tolerance analysis in Code V.

toldif_053002a.txt    describes the Code V model.

Chang issued Release 1, which is the definitive description of the major optical elements, as sent to Brad Picirillo for fabrication.

When Michelle Reed came on board, she took the models out of Code V, back into ZMAX.  The models that
came out of Code V into ZMAX format are:
cdvtranslate_red.zmx
cdvtranslate_working.ZMX

Other versions of the ZMAX model are included

Also, maestro.zip and maestro_CODEV.zip are included, which contain other versions of these files.
